The Raccoon Collective thinks highly of doing the following things: * Uniting the ARTS across Olympia in order to secure artist resources. * Supporting the DIY arts and radical arts projects by fostering networking in North Cascadia (PDX,OLY,SEA). * Getting artist of all mediums together to meet one another, collaborate, and skill share. * Supporting groups that work on social or environmental justice. * Collaborating with other collectives around the country with similar values.

Books to Prisoners Olympia works to offset the dehumanizing effects of incarceration by sending quality used books free of charge to prisoners all over. We are entirely operated by volunteers, our library entirely stocked by donated books.

Bread and Roses is a homeless advocacy center based out of olympia."As a community hub, Bread and Roses bridges the class divide by bringing people of differing class backgrounds together to discover what they have in common, as well as the unique value in one another. By bringing the community together, in all its diversity, Bread and Roses destroys the myths, fears, stereotypes, and social barriers that prevent the community from effectively addressing issues of poverty and homelessness."

"Free Radio Olympia is an unlicensed, direct action micropower radio station broadcasting at 100 watts on 98.5 FM in Olympia, Washington, Cascadia. We have been on the air since March 2001. FRO is committed to providing a service to the community by creating access to the airwaves and bringing unregulated, uncensored media to our listeners in the spirit of free speech and freedom of the press."

We are a resource that provides free alternative educational opportunities to people of all ages and backgrounds. The FreeSchool also works for profound social change by serving as a model for education in the future.

The olympia food co-op runs two stores in olympia. It is a non-profit member run organization with a democraticly elected consesus decision making board. Onyx works there. Yum.

"SafePlace is the only advocacy agency and confidential shelter for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault in Thurston County.
We are a private non-profit organization. Our sexual assault program is one of the oldest in the nation. A board of directors, a paid staff, and over 90 trained volunteers operate the agency.

Stonewall Youth is a non-profit community organization that supports, informs, and advocates for youth up to 21 years old who identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgendered, or who have questions about their sexual orientation or gender identity. The organization was founded in 1991 and today provides a wide spectrum of services, including Youth Outreach, Peer Support Groups, and Community Education.
